Summer rolls around again and we had another opportunity to collaborate with some very talented friends on the Rooftop Cinema website. Tin & Ed’s beautiful illustrations were wonderfully used by The People Collective on the poster campaign, and we worked to translate this to the website. Many of the design elements are pared back compared to previous years; and the design relies strongly on the Futura typography and movie thumbnails sprinkled throughout.

It’s always a delicate balancing act to get the movie content to harmonise with the illustrations on the Rooftop site. It helps that the illustrations this year are so strong and simple.

We reversed the colours for the interior pages of the website.
Program
Blank spaces in the program are filled in with randomised samples of the watercolour painting.
